Jumpshare - Screen Recorder App Reviews

Amazing and useful

As a graphic designer, Jumpahare allows me to share large PDFs and images with clients across all platforms, either singly or in folders. They love it and so do I! It makes my workflow so much smoother. Highly recommended . . .

Does what it’s supposed to – fast.

Love this app and have been using it since I downloaded it… share at least a few files each week. Currently, the FREE version is suitable and I’d think of upgrading should the requirements increase further. Unlike “WeTransfer” which was my previously preferred tool, I get the link the moment I drag my file into the icon and it stays there. Well done, folks!

5 star solution ..

As small media production this is best cloud solution we werent event thinking of. There is interesting integration to slack apps too. We just hope to see way to access files offline on Mac with option to download all or some files for offline view.

menubar app is great, with a folder sync, it’s better

Great mac app and great web app. I’m jumpshare plus user and as photographer i can’t use jumpshare in my workflow ! The reason is while i’m exporting my files with lightroom, i can’t initiate the upload with the jumpshare app by ‘open’ files on after action. So i have to export the whole files and drop my folder on the menubar icon : it’s a waste of time. I tried to do it with applescripts but there’s no solution as far as i know. Two solutions : enhance the app by the ability to drop files on its icon to initiate the upload or create a virtual / temporary folder to export into to initiate the upload. This folder could have the ability to purge it with a delay.

Very nice App

The only thing ist that the autostart doesnt work any more, the option ist always disabled and i have to open it manually. Mac Pro Yosemite

Very Good!

Simple to use

Simple & organize.

I love the appereance of Jumpshare. It’s helping me really much to keep my files organize without having an account in Google Drive or adding extra plans in iCloud.

It’s fine

Solid design, no ads, life-saving shortcuts. What else should you want?

Love this app....

There are a bunch of great menu bar file sharing apps for the Mac, but Jumpshare is by far the best. It reminds me of CloudApp with more thought given to the kinds of content people need to quickly share, but still just as simple to use. I really like how the developer integrated all the most common task I perform when trying to share things quickly. The ability to share formatted code snipptis, anotated screen captures, and screen recordings all from intuitive key commands is really slick. This replaces about four or five apps that I would typically need to use to achieve the same results. This is such an imporvement to my daily workflow. The first odd job that I tossed at Jumpshare was pressing Command + Shift + 6 to make a quick video demonstration of a software feature that a client was having difficulty understanding. I was able to create and share this in less time then it would have taken me to explain over the phone or outline in an email. My client was so thankful for such a quick, clear, and concise response. Yup... I could have done all of this with the Apple QuickTime app, upload that video to Google Drive, copy the share link, email the link to client... but the truth is that process involves just enough friction, and feels just clumsy enough, that I never do it. Jumpshare bundles all of my quick sharing needs into a nice set of standard tasks that seamlessly stream the results directly to free cloud storage. Love it!

So useful!

Best app ever! I work in customer support and have to help people every single day. Now I can take screenshots and edit them before sharing and record screen to guide users if they’re having more trouble than usual. Loving it so far! 10/10!

How file sharing should be

This service is amazing. Been using it since it’s inception and the Mac app is as good as they come. Automatic uploads are silky smooth, drag and drop works great. Besides these two, the rest of the options like folder upload, selective screen shot, notes or even screen recording are awesome ! This ranks above Dropbox and google drive for me.

Love It

This is the best screenshot sharing app out here. Works perfectly, a lot of useful features. Free plan!

Best file sharing app out there

I’ve been using Jumpshare for quite a while now. I’ve tried a ton of file sharing services, but this one always wins out. Plethora of options when it comes to sharing (Screenshots, even screen casts), the ability to save your shares in separate folders—It’s a winner. I’m a designer by trade, and it’s perfect for sharing files with clients for proofing. Couldn’t recommend it more (And the developers are incredible as well—Always very responsive!)

for Mac power users, most excellent app

the automatic link copied to the clipboard upon file upload is great, as is the built in screencast ability. very, very useful, many more features. glad i got it.

Exactly what I need—better than the others

I was using a free, original feature of Scribd. But it looks like Scribd now requires sign-up/subscription for retrieval and download by others. And I was using Dropbox, but was not entirely satisfied. As I set up a personal website, I looked for something better and was extremely happy to use Jumpshare as my linkage for documents. Smooth, quick, easy, intuitive. No barriers to entry for people who want to view and download. Both the website and the computer app work great. Love the option for short links. Jumpshare, please keep doing what you’re doing! (Only feature I’d love to see added sometime is ability to upload revisions of a file while retaining the same link.)

Awesome little tool thats really quite useful!

I randomly found this app and decided to give it a try. I have to say I’m very pleased after using it a few weeks and find that I rely on it multiple times a day throughout every day! Its especially useful being a remote working in the tech field. I constantly take little screenshots of my screen or screencasts of little demos as I work. Being able to do this super quickly and instantly have access to a clipboard URL that I can then paste right to my team has been a god-send! Honestly, I haven’t found a single thing to complain about and probably not even using the app to its fullest extent (yet). FWIW I use the free version happily without noticing any downsides ;)

Love this app

It, really helpful, i use it every day, especially for making and sending screenshots.

Very nice tool

Works as expected, very fluid process.

Promising Quick Video Screen Capture, Image Annotations

Excited that these two features seem to be executed well. Have only used it a bit so far, but they pretty much work the way I expected. 2 GB of space seems pretty reasonable for a free plan. Hope they don’t go the route that CloudApp was forced to go (tiny upload caps/month). I’d even stomach ads on free plans as an alternative.

Great application, great service

This app for OS X is exactly what I was looking for. It appears to be (in my experience, anyway) lightweight, fast and does exactly what it says it does. The service as a whole is also great, offering the right balance between paid and free features. I use it primarily for sharing screenshots, but you could theoretically share just about anything. Give it a try if you haven’t already. You’ll probably find this app to be a much better alternative to CloudApp, Skitch and the like. Beats both of those hands down in my opinion.
